dynasty, snack boxes were called “Quan” boxes meaning "together." These boxes were used for snacks and candies for festive occasions. JIA reinterprets traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern design relevant for both the Asian and
Western dining table.
JIA in Chinese means home. JIA invites international designers with various cultural backgrounds to reinterpret Chinese object culture and traditional craftsmanship to create new directions in homeware.
